We are a family owned company started by my father Gerald Heintz in 1979. He took the old school business approach to "understand your product, build a quality pool, and treat customers how you want to be treated." Dad's approach worked well as we now have hundreds of pools in the ground throughout central and southern Illinois, some of which are going on 30 plus years in operation. I'm always amazed when I go back to these pools for maintenance how the customer always askes about my father and how many loyal, happy customers he was able to cultivate.
So let me introduce myself, I'm Kevin Heintz the current owner and operator for Swimmers Delight. I have been affiliated with Swimmers Delight since 1995, and I officially took over the reins in 2006. I had always helped Dad growing up during my summers, but both of my parents insisted I get my college degree before ever committing to running the business. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2004, and returned to work for the family business.
Given my Dad's success, I have adopted his business approach by understanding all my products and by working on the job with my crew thereby delivering a quality product every time. I make sure to never forget that I'm working in your backyard on your dream pool and to treat you and your space accordingly.
